Pvt George F. Sullivan graduated from Davis High School in January 1944.

He volunteered for the Army on 28 January 1944 at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was sent overseas in October 1944.

Pvt Sullivan was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of St. Avold, France.
