1st Lt John W. Wright attended college for four years before he enlisted at Camp Shelby, Mississippi on 9 February 1943.During the night of 19-20 January, Troop C conducted a raid across the Roer River, returning with six prisoners. Probably Lt Wright was killed during this action.
