Pvt Frank P. Spleen immigrated to the United States when he was four. During his school years he was a good basketball player. He was employed by the P. & R. Shops.Before he enlisted in Allentown, Pennsylvania on 28 October 1943, he had served in the National Guard for 15 years. He trained at Fort Bragg and Camp Hood. He was sent overseas in July 1944.
He is remembered at the Calvary Cemetery of Mount Carbon, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
