2nd Lt James J. Spilman graduated from St. Francis Seminary and St. Anthony Monastry. He worked for the Andrew Jergens Co.He enlisted in Cincinnati, Ohio on 11 May 1942.
He was taken prisoner and died at Stalag IX-B.
