1st Lt Guy A. Ringbloom graduated from West High School and attended the Univeristy of Minnesota.He was an accountant before he volunteered for the Army of the United States at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on 20 January 1942. He served 20 months in the Aleutians before he was sent to the Europe.
He was killed by sniperfire while rescuing one of his wounded men.
