T/5 Joseph J.J. Hrubovcak enlisted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 14 September 1943.He was taken Prisoner of War on 21 December 1944 in Sankt-Vith, Belgium, during the Battle of the Bulge and died in Stalag IV-B.
Both his parents were born in Czechoslovakia.
