Pvt Aaron Goldstein enlisted in New York City, New York on 28 July 1943.His tank was hit and he went missing in the burning tank.
'Now rushing forward against moderate resistance, tanks and infantry reached VK880526. Here direct fire weapons were met. Two medium tanks were hit trying to take high ground. One M-4 burned; the other was recoverable. Sgt. Arnold B. Stens, T/4 Victor J. Rassier and Pvt. Aaron Goldstein are missing from burned tank; S/Sgt. Charles W. Holland was wounded and evacuated.'
