T/4 John W. Adams was employed by the Crater Lake Lumber and Box Company.He enlisted on 10 May 1942 and trained at Fort Knox, Kentucky and Fort Benning, Georgia. He joined his unit at Camp Polk, Louisiana in September 1942.
He was sent overseas in March 1944.
