Sgt Grimm was killed in Belgium on January 9 when he was struck by a train. He had been in service for three years and was stationed at Camp Claiborne prior to going overseas four months before his death. He was serving with a railway battalion in Ottignies, Belgium.Sergeant Grimm was first buried at Fosse Cemetery at Namur, Belgium at Block I, Row 9, Grave 163.
