Pfc Robert C. Lee graduated from high school at Fort Peck in 1939 and was employed as a foreman for Kershaw, Swinerton and Walberg Co. of Denver.He enlisted in Denver, Colorado on 30 December 1942 and was selected for the Army Specialized Training Program. When the program was disbanded, he was transferred to the infantry and was sent overseas in September 1944.
